Friday Favorites - Oh How I Love Etsy!

Seriously! Look how beautiful all these amazing finds are. I am the most picky person I know. I could walk into a mall with $500 dollars and spend nothing because I can't find just what I am looking for. Well wish I had $500 dollars... I would support all these amazing artists in a heart beat. And actually get something I totally love.

Happiness Is A Piece Of Cake

For all you cake lovers out there. It's all about the cake! It's funny, because I don't even have a sweet tooth but couldn't resist making a great birthday card with this festive font. Simple and sweet and who doesn't like aqua and red color combinations?

Inspired By Nature

Happy Monday to all. I started my day browsing a new handmade market "papernstitch" I'm featuring my work in and stumbled across this amazing photograph by Leefee Photography. The colors are truly breathtaking. Of course, right now I am in love with all colors from the blue, aqua and turquoise family. Please take a look at the rest of their photos... well worth the visit.

Early Inspiration - Amazing Work!

In October of 2009, I left the Agency world and started Monkey Mind Design. I can honestly say I am following my dream. In November, I started selling on Etsy (marketplace for handmade goods). Everyday I find a new and inspiring piece of art there. It is amazing the amount of talent in this world. I will be showcasing some of my inspiration through this blog. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Playdate's aren't just for kids - what's your next outing?

A playdate with a purpose. Sure you can always send a text or an email, but how fun would it be to get one of these note cards in the mail. Now I just need to figure out what's my next fun outing going to be and send out a couple of these.

Going Old School

I'm an 80's kid and can remember the numerous afternoons spent on my bike. I had one just like this with the banana seat and long handle bars. These note cards were fun to make and brought back some great memories!
