Let the 2010 World Cup games begin! I played soccer all my life and I am a fan heart and soul! It is so exciting to share this tournament with my daughter who has been playing soccer now for two years. Maybe one lucky year I can be a crazed fan in the stadium cheering on my favorite team, USA! How fun would that be?

I Heart Sparklers - It's almost time for fun and fireworks!

What's not to love about the 4th of July? So much to do and so entertaining. A day full of fun! Our community has a neighborhood parade for the kids. Those kids go above and beyond decorating their bikes, scooters and wagons. Then it's off to the pool for a fun filled afternoon. The celebration continues with a smokin' BBQ. Finally... the sun sets and sparks start to fly... literally! With fireworks, the bigger the better! I can't wait!

Friday Favorite - Santa Fe " the city different"

I just took a quick trip down to Santa Fe, New Mexico, my hometown. Summer in Santa Fe is the best. The weather is fantastic and the town is so beautiful. I feel so inspired! I took in every flower, quirky corner, plaza bench and of course patio margaritas. If you've never been, it's a must see destination. Not only is the food amazing but the art overflows. I walked around the plaza for six hours... in and out of small boutiques and galleries. I was only there for two days and feel completely recharged. Feed your soul, visit Santa Fe.

It's not only a day to remember lost soldiers... but a day to spend with your loved ones. I've got burgers on the brain. My slider tip: use Gruyere cheese instead of cheddar and biscuits for buns. So yummy! Enjoy the day!
