Mother's Day Brunch Idea

I love Gruyère cheese and recently went to the French restaurant Brasserie Ten Ten in Boulder. I had the best ham and cheese crepes. So savory! Now I am on a mission to make them at home. Crossing my fingers I can conquer the crepes. And if I can do it... then Mother's Day brunch will be an extra special delight!

Ham and Gruyère Crepes

Authentic Black Forest ham is produced in the Black Forest region of Bavaria, in southwestern Germany. There, the hams are cold smoked over beech wood or pine from nearby forests, producing meat with an intense smoky-sweet flavor and velvety texture.

Gruyère is a hard yellow cheese made from cow's milk, named after the town of Gruyères in Switzerland.

Feeling inspired? Here's the recipe I will be trying: Ham and Gruyère Crepes

  1. The crepes were very easy to make... not picture perfect of course but... they were great and it was my first attempt!
