Home of the "U-Pick-Em" Pumpkin Patch! Over 100 acres filled with corn mazes, pumpkin patches, petting zoos and hay rides. This year we left with a whopping five pumpkins... we've got a lot of carving ahead of us. If you've never been to a pumpkin patch, it's worth a visit!! Even if you don't plan on buying any pumpkins. It's not everyday you get to enjoy walking a round such a beautiful setting. We were so fortunate to have a perfect Colorado fall day with blue skies and a cool breeze. Have a little extra time? Try the corn mazes... too much fun!  Now for a little hot cider and the classic "It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" to complete the day!

If one of these cuties came barking at my door, I'd surely have a treat for them. My dogs aren't as cooperative when it comes to costumes. Years back, I tried with some reindeer antlers... let's just say I got the evil eye and I'm sure something got chewed up as a payback. It turns out I have really been enjoying getting ready for the Halloween season. It's actually exciting to  be ready ahead of time. Hope I can keep my momentum when it's time to get ready for Christmas in October. I have a couple more ideas for some fun vampire invitations and a new witch card. And new to me, cupcake toppers... who knew I would be so drawn to these. So I am giving it a go with my new invitations, we'll see how they do. Stay tuned for more paper Halloween goodies!!

Halloween's Around The Corner

I realized it was time to get going on my Halloween line once I went to the grocery store and saw that they already had candy out. I love Halloween... so many great kiddos out in some really cool and creative costumes.
